How is it that you grew up in the hood and I grew up in Utopia? I do lovingly refer to our neighborhood as the slums of Sandy but the hood? Okay, okay, there was that one day I came home and saw the forest of marijuana plants on the front lawn of the corner house following the raid by the DEA. I guess that means you win.
Marijuana plants? What is this happening on your street? Why haven't I heard of this before? To think this whole time I have been taking an hour bus ride to get my stash.. when I could have just walked "around the corner".
**disclaimer**
I pass on grass.. and always JUST SAY NO!!!
Although I have taken an hour long bus ride by mistake. Not for grass, mind you. That's what happens when you take the wrong bus to school. Haha!
It's interesting that Barry came over today to tell me about the drug bust two days ago at the house at the end of the street (across the street from the former Marijuana raid). At least they didn't grow it in the house like the other one. They just distributed it from the house. That's why there were so many trucks and cars visiting all the time. (They had 5 dogs in the yard) Two days ago, Barry noticed two different cars with suspicious characters just hanging out in the car, so he wrote down their plate numbers. (They turned out to be the undercover cops that had been casing the house for 2 months.) I love our neighborhood though...
Yes, I love it too. Unfortunately, so do the drug dealers. : )
